About Houston-Galveston Area Council 
The Houston-Galveston Area Council is one of the largest regional planning commissions in the country with a diverse service area of 13 counties and more than 7 million people. We are the pulse of our region addressing issues that cross city limits and county lines every single day.

What will I be doing?  
  •  Assist with application tracking and onboarding of new childcare providers
  •  Assist with updating processes related to childcare scholarships
  •  Ensure services are compliant with all federal, state and local laws and regulations
  •  Review and complete various childcare reports
  •  Answer calls and emails from childcare provider
 
Key Qualifications  
  •  Excellent interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to coordinate and communicate with other team members and external partners
  •  Ability to perform and complex tasks within required deadline
 
Do you have…  
  •  Bachelor's degree in an applicable academic discipline or related field of study
  •  5 years of experience with local government, nonprofit programs, schools, or in job-related duties
 
Preferred Qualifications
  •  Experience with local government funding and contract management

Salary Range-$75,000.00-$83,909.00
