Salary: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour, plus Monthly Bonus

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Operations Coordinator Job Description:


The Office Operations Coordinator oversees all office functions related to operational plant activities. With support from office staff, this role reports directly to the Regional Operations Supervisor and serves as primary administrator for the plant operations. S/he must be adept at anticipating needs, taking initiative, problem solving, and coordination with the corporate office.


Requirements

Operations Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Purchase Order Controls
  • Coordinate with Plant Manager on purchases
  • Manage open purchase orders in Bellwether Purchase Order Software
  • Complete PO and Invoices in Bellwether
  • Provide 3-way match (PO, Packing Slip, Invoice) to Corp. share drive
  • Review account coding
  • Human Resource Coordination
  • Assist with human resources functions such as the pre-employment process, new hire onboarding, injury and accident reporting, time and attendance, communications and day to day employee support.
  • Participate on the plant safety committee
  • Raw Materials and Daily Reports
  • Receiving incoming raw materials with detail-oriented documentation
  • Reconciling Accounts Payable Clearing account following Day End
  • Update finished goods inventory (build assemblies in Sage 300)
  • Truck scale management
  • Inventory Management
  • Cycle Counts
  • Support the finance department on all month end close procedures including but not limited to physical
  • Accounts Payable
  • Shipping and Receiving
  • Receiving incoming shipments into the system and handling inbound documentation.
  • Signing trucks in and out of the plant recording necessary data and batching daily shipping paperwork as it relates to outbound shipments
  • Other Duties as Assigned
  • Complete required daily reports and distribute
  • Disperse mail to appropriate departments and ensure delivery of overnight packages


Operations Coordinator Qualifications/Education:

  • Above average skills in communication both oral and written
  • Above average skills in organization and attention to detail
  • Demonstrates ability to work as a teamwork and effectively manage through others
  • High level proficiency in Microsoft Office with a focus in Excel & Word
  • Demonstrates the ability to work under pressure and multi-task
  • Previous experience in manufacturing office and accounting preferred
