Rochester Regional Health is seeking a passionate Board-Certified PM&R Physician to serve as the Associate Program Director for our ACGME-accredited Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Residency Program. About the Residency Program:

Position Highlights:

Administrative Responsibilities (0.1-0.2 FTE):

  • Assist the Program Director in developing and implementing the residency curriculum, ensuring alignment with ACGME standards.
  • Play an active role in resident recruitment, onboarding, and mentorship.
  • Organize and lead didactic sessions, conferences, and other educational activities.
  • Collaborate with the Program Director to evaluate residents' performance and progress, providing guidance and support to help them meet ACGME milestones.
  • Contribute to program assessments and continuous quality improvements to enhance resident education and patient care.

Clinical Practice (0.8-0.9 FTE):

  • Serve as an attending physician within Rochester Regional Health's PM&R service line. Physicians with inpatient, outpatient, or mixed practice interests are encouraged to apply.
  • Clinical focus may include general rehabilitation, neurologic rehabilitation, musculoskeletal care, EMG/NCS, or other areas of PM&R practice interest.
  • Provide hands-on clinical teaching and mentorship to residents during rotations.
  • Deliver patient care that exemplifies RRH's commitment to compassionate, patient-centered service.

Program Development:

  • Foster collaboration among PM&R faculty to build a cohesive and supportive environment for education and care.
  • Contribute to scholarly activity, such as research, presentations, or educational innovations, that enhances the program's reputation and impact.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Board Certification in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
  • Demonstrated commitment to medical education and mentorship.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience delivering lectures and leading educational initiatives.
  • Documented scholarly activity, such as publications, presentations, or contributions to academic medicine.

In addition to the base pay range, certain provider positions may be eligible for variable compensation in accordance with health system pay practices. This may include productivity and/or value-based clinical incentives, bonus compensation, or other forms of variable pay.

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant.
