We are currently looking for a Reunion Program Coordinator for Glenncrest at Johns Creek.


Primary Responsibilities of the Reunion Program Coordinator:

  • Successfully creates and implements the Reunion activity calendar daily. Monthly activity calendars should also tie into the QSLM annual/monthly theme.
  • Collaborates with the Director of Memory Care on activities and entertainment that best meet the needs of the residents.
  • Ensure residents have an opportunity to exercise each day. Receives instruction and recommendations from the Director of Memory Care.
  • Implements a resident's walking/ambulation program according to the resident's needs and abilities.
  • Assist with scheduling opportunities for residents to enjoy local cultural events according to the residents' service plan and ability to participate.
  • Implements the Reunion Program for each resident at the time of admission. Assists new residents in adjusting to their unique environment and schedule. Ensures that new residents are placed at a dining table with other residents who share similar interests and socialization abilities.

Requirements

  • Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others
  • A High School Diploma is required.
  • Ability to multi-task and good organization skills, communication and public relations skills, display traits of creativity, flexibility and teamwork a must
  • Must have 1 years of experience with geriatric population, including Alzheimer's Dementia with ability to adapt to changing behaviors
  • Proven computer skills with Microsoft Word and Office
  • Be flexible with work schedule including holidays and weekends
  • Ability to market the activities and events to family members through use of social media
