The Reentry Resource Consultant coordinates andoversees all program activities related to community resources for the WakeCounty Reentry Program administered by Capital Area WorkforceDevelopment.


Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Experience coordinating community resources to address the needs of returning citizens, (this includes  basic needs, healthcare, transportation, education, employment, and housing assistance).
  • Developing and expanding housing support
  • Working with community partners
  • Connecting clients to the appropriate support
  • Monitoring the program budget with leadership


The Reentry Resource Consultant alsomanages and monitors contracts with community partners to ensureeffectiveness and compliance. Working effectively with partners requires highenergy and enthusiasm as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-pacedenvironment with tight deadlines. The Reentry Resource Consultant willwork closely with the multi-disciplinary team to provide technicalassistance, track performance, maintain accurate documentation,and submit accurate and prompt reports.
