Department: Respiratory Care
Shift: Day
Working Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Summary:
To meet or exceed customer expectations. To assess, treat, and/or test patients with cardiopulmonary dysfunction per physician order(s) and /or protocol(s), and to document the patient response to such. To integrate his/her expertise as a consultant, researcher, educator, clinician, coach and role model with the intent of improving the quality of patient care, affecting outcomes, promoting the development of professional standards of practice in accordance with the pulmonary specialty standard; and to lead, coach, manage, and monitor respiratory therapists on staff.
Other information:
Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program, Associate degree required (prefer B.S. degree), Registered Respiratory Therapist, Arkansas Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (LRCP), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support Provider (ACLS), and PALS & NRP required.
This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
