Job description

Resource Innovations is seeking a Program Associate to join our growing team in Peoria, IL. As a Program Associate with Resource Innovations, you will provide vital administrative and outreach support for our partnerships with several Community Based Organizations on energy efficiency and clean energy programs in Illinois.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) and program partners, supporting communication and engagement with utility energy efficiency programs.
  • Assist with outreach, partner engagement, and ongoing relationship management.
  • Represent the utility and program at community events, outreach activities, and partner meetings by staffing information tables, engaging with the public, and providing program information and support.
  • Collect, review, and maintain program data, invoices, and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Track project activities, milestones, deliverables, and deadlines using database systems and project tracking tools.
  • Review partner activities and documentation to ensure compliance with program requirements.
  • Identify and escalate issues, recommend solutions, and communicate potential scheduling or project conflicts.
  • Prepare and maintain reports, spreadsheets, and project documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve data, process, and documentation issues to ensure successful program execution.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of relevant work experience in customer service, energy efficiency or working community-based organizations 
  • Self-motivated and highly organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively
  • Results-driven and able to collaborate across all levels of an organization to deliver on commitments and meet objectives
  • Experience with various Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, OneNote and Teams) and Salesforce or other CRM systems
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing and able to regularly travel throughout the state of Illinois. Travel may include visits to:
    • Community-Based Organizations (CBOs)
    • Program events and outreach activities
    • Regional meetings and trainings
  • Interest in sustainability and passionate about making a meaningful impact on the environment.

Compensation & Benefits

Resource Innovations offers competitive salaries based on a candidate's skills, experience and qualifications for the position.  The compensation range for the base salary for this position is $60,000-$65,000. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.  The stated salary represents the expected compensation for this position. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, education and location.
