Job description

OVERVIEW:
The After School Program Aide will assist in various duties that support the program and permanent staff.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the After School Program
  • Participate in weekly staff meetings
  • Provide snacks to the after-school program participants
  • Assist with the monitoring of program participants during activities
  • Take the lead in program activities
  • Assist with the transportation of program participants
  • Ensure the safe check-in and check-out of children participating in the after-school program
  • Assist with cleaning and resetting program areas
  • Assist with cleaning of the kitchen and dining area
  • Other related duties as required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
  • CA driver's license (required)
  • 21 years of age (required)
  • Experience working in an after-school program
  • Experience with Microsoft programs

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)
  • Team player
  • Great communication skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Modern Office Equipment and Relevant Software
