Summer Staff - Forest Technician Positions

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking Summer Staff to fill Forestry Technicians roles for our summer work program. This position is ideal for individuals currently enrolled or completing a Natural Resource diploma or degree Program who are eager to complement their education with hands-on fieldwork experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in various phases of timber development projects.
  • Participate in timber assessments and data collection.
  • Contribute to road and cut block design activities.
  • Collaborate with the team on forest license management planning and reporting.
  • Perform silviculture surveys, planting supervision, and auditing assessments.

Qualifications:

  • Enrollment in a Natural Resource Program or previous applicable experience.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Eligible to work in Canada.
  • Physically able to fulfill the demands of field positions.
  • First Aid or other safety certifications are advantageous.
