Program Assistant - School Age Child Care (Midlothian Program Locations)

Looking for a rewarding way to spend your mornings and afternoons? The YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking team-oriented individuals to support our before and after-school programs across the Midlothian Region.

Position: School Age Child Care Program Assistant

Locations: Evergreen Elementary, JB Watkins Elementary, the Manchester Family YMCA and the Midlothian Family YMCA

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 6:45am-9:15am and/or 3:30pm-6:15pm

Salary Range: $13-$14 per hour

Your Role on the Team:

  • Partner with program staff to keep activities running smoothly and on schedule
  • Assist with group management, transitions, and daily routines
  • Set up and clean up activity spaces, snacks, and materials
  • Offer encouragement and support to children as they participate in games and projects
  • Help maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for all participants
