Cleveland Brothers, the largest Cat® dealer in Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia and western Maryland, has an immediate opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Harrisburg, PA.
Position Summary:
Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co., Inc. is seeking a Staff Accountant. This role reports to the Senior Accounting Manager and is responsible for various accounting functions related to treasury operations, financial analysis, general ledger reconciliations, and internal reporting.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Create and distribute various bank detail reports daily.
  • Create various bank detail reports and distribute to management.
  • Upload, monitor, investigate various treasury internal controls (positive pay).
  • Complete outgoing wires / ach payments as needed.
  • Process incoming checks via remote deposit.
  • Administer and manage the company credit card payment program.
  • Assist with company P-Card program.
  • Prepare vendor / supplier application forms.
  • Assist with various insurance tasks (insurance certificates, renewals).
  • Review, analyze, and prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliations on monthly basis.
  • Reconciliation of E-Commerce sales.
  • Prepare and review journal entries during month-end close process.
  • Assist with year-end financial audit as required. Compile audit samples as requested by external auditors.
  • Other general accounting duties as assigned.

Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
  • 3-5 years of related accounting experience preferred
  • Experience with treasury management preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft D365 preferred
  • Ability to multi-task on various projects
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of company personnel
  • Proficient with MS Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
