Assistant Program Manager

County Clothing Center, Ravenna, OH

Full time/40 hours/week

$35,000/annually

Schedule: 40 hours/week


GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: ย Assists the Program Manager in overseeing all aspects of the County Clothing Centerย 


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: ย 

  1. Collaboration with County Clothing Center Board to disseminate mission of the center under the supervision of the Program Manager.ย 
  2. Identify and secure funding under the supervision of the Program Manager.ย 
  3. Maintain working relations with church communities and service organizations to support and serve as volunteers.ย 
  4. Garners resources for the County Clothing Center under the supervision of the Program Manager.ย ย 
  5. Provide dissemination of excess materials to various missions.ย 
  6. Provides orientation, supervision and training for all volunteer groups and individuals, continuing with an up-date session within each year.ย 
  7. Provide statistics to various funding sources funders and other appropriate entities.ย 
  8. Complies with agency policies and procedures, COA regulations, federal and state requirements, and educational/certification/registry requirements.ย 
  9. Other duties as required.ย 

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:ย 

  1. Organizational skills including familiarity and networking with community resources.ย 
  2. Ability to commit to public speaking on behalf of the program.ย 
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; public relations.ย 
  4. Goal oriented and independent working abilities.ย 
  5. Knowledge of copiers, fax, and computers.ย 
  6. Knowledge and capability to relate with diversity, religion, economics and different walks in life.ย 
  7. Valid Ohio Driver's License and ability to meet agency requirements for driving insurability.ย 

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: ย Experience in the social services field preferred.ย  Experience in working with large groups of volunteers preferred.ย 


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: ย Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.ย
