Office Assistant
Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated Office Assistant to join their client's team in Florida. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations and supporting various administrative functions within the office environment.
Responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative support for day-to-day operations of the office.
  • Maintains a credit card expenditure record for accounting.
  • Assists with purchases of office supplies, inventory control, and grant-funded supplies.
  • Works with various vendors, organizations, and personnel to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Assists with maintaining inventory, including, but not limited to, computers, printers, office furniture, and office supplies.
  • Assists in gathering and maintaining all lists for all company committees.
  • Assist with programs, including operations, data collection, and reporting.
  • Assist with the updating of the Resource Manual.
  • Assist with providing back-up to the CI&R Program Assistant.
  • Assist with participation in community activities, i.e., health fairs, community baby showers, social service fairs, as needed.
  • Assists with other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills:
Required:
  • High School diploma
  • Two years' experience as an administrative assistant in an office environment.
  • Excellent computer skills and file maintenance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and working on the internet.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Can demonstrate sound judgment, dependability, and good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Has a tactful, pleasant, and friendly approach in dealing with residents, staff, guests, and individuals within the community.
  • Travel to local meetings and conference(s) may be required.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, a safe driving record, reliable transportation, and carry personal car insurance.
  • Must pass a level 2 background screening. The candidate will be fingerprinted, and a background screening will be conducted.
  • Is capable of meeting the physical demands of the position as outlined below.

Work Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Salary:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
