Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Scrum Master to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating Agile practices, ensuring the team adheres to Scrum principles, and fostering a collaborative environment that promotes continuous improvement. As a Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in guiding the team through the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) while ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
Duties
  • Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Scrum ceremonies to ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Coach team members on Agile methodologies and best practices to enhance their understanding and execution of the Scrum framework.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritise and manage the product backlog, ensuring clarity of user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) by coordinating efforts between development teams and stakeholders to validate product functionality.
  • Identify and resolve impediments that may hinder the team's progress, fostering an environment of transparency and trust.
  • Utilize project management tools to track progress, report on metrics, and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Negotiate timelines and deliverables with stakeholders while maintaining alignment with project goals.
  • Promote adherence to Agile principles across the organization by providing training and support as needed.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role within an Agile environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies such as SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) and experience with project management practices.
  • Familiarity with SQL for data analysis related to project performance metrics is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
