Location: Minneapolis, MN
Salary: $48,000 to $91,000 annually, depending on experience
Job Type: Full-Time

Professional Partners Group is recruiting a Litigation Legal Assistant for a highly regarded, full-service law firm in Minneapolis. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized and detail-oriented legal professional who enjoys supporting busy attorneys and working within a collaborative litigation team.

The firm offers a collegial work environment, competitive compensation, and a comprehensive benefits package. The firm’s name will be shared with qualified candidates during the initial screening process.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, revise, proofread, and format legal correspondence, pleadings, agreements, and other documents
  • Perform document comparisons, conversions, PDF editing, scanning, and electronic file maintenance
  • Electronically file and serve litigation documents in state, federal, and appellate courts
  • Docket court orders, briefing schedules, hearings, conferences, and other litigation deadlines
  • Maintain electronic client files, pleading indices, original pleadings, and client documents
  • Review, edit, and finalize attorney and paralegal time entries
  • Assist with client invoices and billing-related tasks
  • Manage attorney calendars and coordinate meetings, conferences, depositions, appointments, and reservations
  • Respond to routine correspondence and provide general administrative support to attorneys and clients

Required Qualifications

  • Previous administrative support experience
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with electronic document management
  • Excellent grammar, proofreading, and document-formatting skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, frequent interruptions, and strict deadlines
  • Professional communication and client-service skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least two years of business litigation legal assistant or legal administrative experience within a law firm
  • Experience with state and federal court filings
  • Experience using iManage and InTapp

Compensation

Compensation is based on relevant experience and qualifications:

  • Developing experience: $48,000 to $66,000
  • Experienced legal support professionals: $56,000 to $75,000
  • Advanced or specialized experience: $67,500 to $80,000
  • Extensive litigation expertise: up to $91,000
