Responsibilities

As a Leave Partner, you will serve as a trusted HR partner responsible for the administration, coordination, and compliance of employee leave programs. This role ensures an exceptional employee experience while maintaining adherence to federal, state, and local leave laws and company policies. You will collaborate closely with employees, managers, HR Business Partners, payroll, benefits vendors, and third‑party administrators to deliver accurate, timely, and compassionate leave support. Success requires embodying the corporate culture in all interactions and demonstrating professionalism and excellence in customer service.

What It Takes
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preference for HR)
  • 3‑5 years of progressive HR experience with significant focus on leave of absence administration
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communication skills; must present a professional, positive image at all times
  • Strong working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, USERRA, and state and local leave laws
  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
  • Valid driver’s license for the type(s) of vehicles that may be driven, with an acceptable driving record as determined by the Michels Review Team
  • Experience in a multi‑state or complex leave environment (Desired)
Compensation

Salary range: $87,000 – $113,000 per year. Actual pay will be adjusted based on location and individual skills, experience, education, and other job‑related factors permitted by law.
