Polsinelli is seeking a Professional Development Coordinator to support the firm's growing professional development function. In this role, you will work closely with the Senior Manager of Professional Development to plan, implement and communicate the firm's core attorney professional development programs, including but not limited to: attorney evaluation and reviews, professional development training and formal mentorship programs. This position is ideal for an individual who is eager to learn and provide service aimed at positively impacting the experience of Polsinelli's legal practitioners throughout their careers.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support Polsinelli's professional development function by gathering, organizing, and tracking process steps, participation data, participant feedback, and other key metrics related to a variety of attorney professional development initiatives.
  • Implement evaluation and review processes for legal practitioners across the firm, including configuring annual and interim evaluation cycles in viEval Wave, interfacing with Aderant and internal stakeholders, training additional viEval administrators, and responding to ongoing inquiries via an "Attorney Reviews" inbox.
  • Develop subject matter expertise sufficient to respond to inquiries regarding multiple programs and policies aimed at non-shareholder legal practitioners, including Polsinelli's Shadow Hours, Firm PD Training Hours, and Associate Sabbatical programs.
  • Collaborate with the following groups: Practice Services, Department Operations, Human Resources, Innovation, Legal Recruiting, Billing, Marketing, and other internal Polsinelli teams to coordinate and execute a variety of high-impact attorney programs and initiatives.
  • Track participation and pairings for Associate Ascent and Polsinelli Path mentorship programs in collaboration with Practice Services and Department Operations teams.
  • Organize logistics for Professional Development Committee meetings, attorney professional development training and other attorney learning initiatives. Record and track meeting notes and attendance.
  • Coordinate with internal and external professional development training content providers.
  • Maintain attorney professional development program resources in the form of overview, FAQ, and guideline documents.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree. Experience in a professional services environment is strongly preferred. Previous experience in professional development, employee learning, or internal communications is preferred.
  • Excellent personal organizational skills and ability to track tasks, progress, and next steps for multiple concurrent projects with different levels of time-sensitivity.
  • Dedication to accuracy, precision, and diligence in project details. Consistently excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on curiosity and audience awareness.
  • High proficiency using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and a document management system such as iManage Work. Experience in viEval Wave is preferred.
  • Professional integrity and a strong desire for growth, process improvement, and scope expansion.

The budgeted salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000.
