What is Production Planning Control?

Production Planning Control (PPC) is a process in manufacturing and production industries that involves planning, scheduling, and controlling all stages of production to ensure products are produced efficiently, on time, and within budget. PPC coordinates materials, machinery, labor, and workflows to meet production targets and maintain quality standards. It helps minimize production costs, reduce waste, and optimize the use of resources. By monitoring and adjusting production plans, PPC ensures smooth operations and timely delivery of finished goods.
