Our team in Space & Defense is looking for a Production Operator to join them. You will report to the Production Coach and will have an onsite work schedule in Blacksburg, VA.

To be considered for a Production Operator role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • High School diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

  • Quality conscious, mechanical aptitude, and good dexterity

As a Production Operator, you will:

  • Complete basic assembly operations using required manufacturing documentation.

  • Correctly store, clean and maintain tools, equipment and chemicals; verify calibration dates and seals.

  • Perform electrical testing using automated test equipment.

  • Solder, read from blueprints, and use microscopes.

  • Complete paperwork required for each part, accurately & legibly.

  • Perform minor rework per Standard Rework Procedures., Quality History Tag Instructions, or rework router.
