The Production Operator, under the direction of the Supervisor or Leadman, oversees operation of processing equipment and processes. Makes routine tests and observes, charts, and determines when the process is complete. Works with manufacturing/batching processing equipment.
Job Summary
The Production Operator will safely control and oversee various machines and equipment involved in production.
Essential Duties

  • Ensures quality and consistency in production processes by assessing, modifying equipment.
  • Ensures efficiency and productivity by evaluating and modifying production processes and/or equipment.
  • Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves issues with equipment, devices, or products.
  • Gathers and arranges materials.
  • Drafts and maintains production logs, inventories, documentation, and reports including those outlining procedures, batch records, inventory, productivity, changeover, and progress.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
  • Ability to operate Fork-lift.
  • Material Handling.
  • Ensures compliance with health and safety laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications Required

  • H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Preferred
  • Minimum of 6 months in a manufacturing/industrial environment Preferred
  • Available to work 12-hour shifts, weekends, holidays and overtime as required
