Description
Position Summary
Supervises and coordinates daily production activities for employees with barriers to employment engaged in assembly, packaging, and processing operations. Ensures that productivity, quality standards, customer requirements, and safety expectations are met while providing coaching and support that promotes employee success, dignity, and skill development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support employees with barriers to employment in daily production activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established specifications.
  • Provide coaching, encouragement, and structured support to promote skill development, independence, and job success.
  • Supply workstations with necessary materials and adjust workflow to support production schedules.
  • Inspect materials and products at various stages of processing for conformance to specifications and customer requirements.
  • Maintain time and production records and support the efficiency and profitability of processes.
  • Monitor employee performance and provide feedback, redirection, and corrective action as needed in accordance with policy.
  • Ensure on-time completion and quality of customer orders and coordinate with customers or other departments as needed.
  • Set up machines, workstations, tools, and equipment, and report malfunctions to maintenance or management.
  • Interpret company policies to workers, enforce safety rules, and report accidents or incidents per organizational procedures.
  • Complete required documentation and reports accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Perform production work as needed to support operations and deadlines.

Critical Control and Escalation Requirements
  • Must maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and organizational requirements.
  • Must enforce safety procedures, production standards, and quality expectations consistently.
  • Must escalate injuries, accidents, equipment malfunctions, policy violations, or significant performance concerns to management promptly.
  • May supervise workflow and employee performance, but must follow established policy for disciplinary, safety, and employment actions.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of assigned production operations and directly supervises approximately 20-30 employees in accordance with organizational policy and applicable law.

  • Valid Texas driver's license, acceptable driving record, and proof of personal vehicle insurance required.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Work Environment and Physical Demands
Work Environment:This position operates primarily in a warehouse and production environment with exposure to moving mechanical parts and moderate to high noise levels.
