We engineer and manufacture reusable and removable industrial insulation products designed specifically for Chilled Water & Cryogenic Applications, Heat Exchangers & Header Covers, Steam & Gas Turbines, and Valves/Pump Covers. With over 30 years of industry experience, we proudly serve diverse markets including OEMs, Petrochemical, Power Generation, Military, Nuclear, Capital Projects, and other industrial sectors.
Job Details:
We're seeking a driven and capable Operations Manager to support and help lead the operations of our manufacturing facility in Jacksonville, Texas and overall business unit. This individual will work closely with the current Plant Manager, serving as a key partner in overseeing daily production activities, enforcing safety and quality standards, and driving operational efficiency. This position is intended as a developmental role, with the long-term goal of succession into all the Plant Manager duties and responsibilities. In addition, this position will eventually be accountable for the overall safety & compliance, growth & margin, productivity, cost control, and equipment utilization.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day operational support to the Plant Manager across all areas of shop activity, including production scheduling, materials flow, labor coordination, and on-time delivery performance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and internal operating procedures.
  • Act as a floor-level leader, working closely with supervisors and production staff to troubleshoot issues and maintain workflow continuity.
  • Participate in job order planning and execution to ensure customer requirements and deadlines are met.
  • Assist in employee supervision, development, and performance feedback, helping to build a strong and engaged workforce.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and engineering, to align plant output with customer demand.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts focused on productivity, waste reduction, and operational excellence.

Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in a custom or job-shop setting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certifications preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude is required - familiarity with shop equipment, hand tools, and basic troubleshooting is essential.
  • Proven leadership skills with a strong floor presence and a proactive, hands-on approach.
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities; bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with ISO and OSHA standards preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret job specifications and technical drawings.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods on the shop floor.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as required.
  • Must be able to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Frequent use of hands and arms for handling, gripping, and operating machinery or tools.
