Job description

Production Manager

Our client is seeking a Production Manager for its Atlanta, GA facility. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years experience managing the production operations within a manufacturing environment. Experience in Advanced Microsoft Office skills and ERP/MRP systems, preferably SAP required. Excellent customer service, verbal, and written communications skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with team and work well under pressure to meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive upbeat attitude required.

This role will oversee Production Supervisors while planning, organizing, and managing the daily production operations, to include scheduling, efficiencies, production costs, staffing levels, production metrics, KPIs, quality standards, and compliance requirements. Position will also implement continuous process improvements and lean manufacturing initiatives, oversee equipment utilization, coordinate maintenance activities, and train/coach develop Production Supervisors and employees.
