The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for leading daytoday manufacturing operations at a single plant in support of the Plant Manager. This role ensures safe, efficient, and highquality production through effective leadership of production teams, deployment of standard work, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with plant and business objectives. The Manufacturing Manager plays a critical role in driving safety, quality, productivity, cost performance, and workforce engagement at the site level.

Key Focus Areas
  • Leads daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and customer requirements are met
  • Directly manages production leadership (e.g., Production Managers, Supervisors) and provides coaching, development, and performance management
  • Partners with the Plant Manager to execute site operating plans, production schedules, and labor plans
  • Drives continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, material utilization, and cost reduction
  • Ensures compliance with all Health, Safety, Environmental, and security policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborates with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and HSE to improve reliability, throughput, and process stability
  • Monitors and analyzes manufacturing KPIs; develops corrective actions to address performance gaps
  • Supports labor relations activities, including working in both union and nonunion environments as applicable
  • Supports employee engagement initiatives and promotes a positive, accountable site culture
  • Other duties as assigned and directed
Foundational Experience

Required Qualifications & Experience: To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 7+ years of manufacturing experience in a lead position
  • Prior experience leading production teams in an industrial environment
  • Experience working in ERPdriven operations
  • Experience leading in unionized manufacturing environments

Desired Qualifications: To be considered an ideal candidate, you should possess some or all of the following qualifications:

  • Metals, coating or roll forming experience
  • Demonstrated success leading continuous improvement initiatives
  • Experience working with continuous lines

Work Environment
