You'll Support Meaningful Work By:
  • Leading a team of product engineers to deliver innovative product solutions from concept to market.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including industrial design and marketing, to develop new product concepts.
  • Reviewing engineering designs and drawings to ensure compliance with Steelcase standards and customer requirements.
  • Driving project timelines and resolving cross-functional issues to keep development on track.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of engineering experience (preference for product engineering)
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent discipline)
  • Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Steelcase will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization and/or visas for this role

Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Driving timelines, resolving cross-functional issues, and fostering collaboration across teams
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with global team members
  • Building strong internal relationships and promoting effective communication
  • Applying knowledge of product design with materials such as steel, aluminum, plastics, wood, glass, and textiles, including a familiarity with CAD tools for design, analysis, and review

The starting annual base salary range for this position is $110,000 - $125,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Steelcase considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
