This is a high-impact, enterprise leadership role where you will shape how production planning operates across our entire manufacturing network. As Senior Director, Production Planning, you'll define the strategy, build the capabilities, and lead the team that ensures we deliver reliably to our customers-while optimizing inventory, minimizing waste, and driving efficiency at scale. This role can be based at our corporate offices in Hopkins or Marshall, MN, or it can be a remote based role.

What You Will Do:

  • Own and elevate enterprise production planning, leading material replenishment and production scheduling across all manufacturing sites
  • Shape the future state by designing and implementing a standardized, scalable planning operating model, governance structure, and roadmap
  • Build a best-in-class team, combining strong centralized leadership with deep plant connectivity to drive execution excellence
  • Drive measurable business impact across key KPIs-output reliability, schedule attainment, inventory optimization, service, and waste reduction
  • Lead cross-functional alignment across Operations, Procurement, Finance, FSQ, and R&D to ensure plans are executable, data-driven, and prioritized to business needs
  • Accelerate transformation and capability building, advancing tools (SAP/MRP), data integrity, and continuous improvement across the network

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership in production planning, supply chain, or manufacturing (CPG/food environment strongly preferred)
  • Proven success leading at scale-enterprise planning, scheduling, or materials management organizations
  • Deep expertise in production planning, inventory optimization, and manufacturing operations in complex, multi-site environments
  • Demonstrated ability to lead transformation and influence cross-functional stakeholders, from plant leaders to executive teams
  • Strong systems and data orientation, with ERP/MRP experience (SAP preferred) and a track record of driving disciplined, data-led decisions

What We Offer:

The base salary range for this position is $153,000 to $255,000 annually, car allowance and eligibility for a 20% annual incentive bonus based on organizational performance. The range reflects factors such as experience, skills, education, certifications, and location, and starting salary may fall anywhere within the stated range.
