Tony Downs Foods Company is seeking candidates for a Production Supervisor for the Madelia facility. Some of the job responsibilities would include employee safety, product quality, employee relations and supervision meeting company standards for productivity, yield and material usage. The ideal candidate will also need excellent leadership and communication skills. REPORTS TO:         Shift Superintendent
 
MAJOR DUTIES:      Efficient use of employees, materials and equipment to meet production standards
 
                              Direct the activities of 50+ hourly production employee’s activities
 
                              Address production and employee issues and problems
 
                              Meet company goals for yield and productivity for his department
 
                              Employee compliance with company policies
 
                              Compliance with State and Federal Regulations
 
                              Assure USDA and customer specifications are met
 
                              Responsible for the safe operation of equipment (guarding) and safe employment practices
 
                              Assure that sanitation standards are being met
 
                              Follow Q.A.’s guidelines to produce a high quality product
 
                             Interface with other departments to resolve problems and provide for efficient use of company resources
