Job description

OVERALL, PURPOSE/FUNCTION:
To calculate the materials and components needed to manufacture within aJIT evolving daily production schedule and audit to ensure appropriate levelsof inventory are maintained.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES:
Weekly - Input all customer purchase orders andforecasts to generate needed raw materials.
  • Open/Close Batches based on JIT evolving daily schedule.
  • Distribute raw material needs to productioncontrol assistants for confirmation and ordering.
  • Analyze inventory to ensure min/max levels aremaintained.
  • Create and/or edit bill of materials forfinished good items (As needed).
  • Run and Analyze MRP â€" Audit Results to know ifData Integrity and Accuracy is In Place
  • Perform Cycle Counts and Row Audits on an AsNeeded Basis
  • All Aspects of Customers ERP Systems
  • Assist with Physical Inventories
  • Miscellaneous assigned tasks (As needed).
  • P&S Supervisorshould:
    • Be organized, motivated, analytical, and capable problemsolvers.
    • Possess strong communication skills.
    • Possess strong team building and positive culture skills
    • Type documents andcorrespondence.
    • Verify, enter, andupdate data in databases.
