Job description

Position Overview:
The Production Associate supports daily cabinet assembly operations by completing multiple hands-on tasks throughout the build and packaging process. This position requires following work instructions, checking work for quality and accuracy, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, and rotating between stations to support production flow and reduce repetitive motion.

Key Responsibilities:
Duties may shift daily based on production needs.

  • Hinge Installation: Operate hinging equipment and attach hinges to cabinet doors accurately and efficiently.
  • Trim & Component Installation: Measure cabinet parts, confirm details against order paperwork, and install shelves, roll tray tracks, and inner cabinet components.
  • Door & Drawer Assembly: Install drawer and roll tray tracks, hang cabinet doors, and assemble/install drawers using hand and power tools.
  • Boxing & Packaging: Fold and prepare cardboard packaging, place completed cabinets into boxes, and ensure the product is secure and ready for shipment.

Tools & Equipment Used:
  • Hinging machine
  • Drill gun / screw gun
  • Staple gun
  • Utility knife
  • Tape measure
  • Table saw

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Ability to read and follow order forms, measurements, and work instructions
