General/Hand Orthopedic Surgeon Reading, PA

Penn State Health Medical Group is seeking a full-time BC/BE Orthopedic Surgeon with sub-specialty training in Hand Surgery preferred . This position would assist in growing the Orthopedic practice in Reading. This is an exceptional opportunity to be a part of a collegial, patient-focused group with a rich history of providing great care to the community. Our team consists of two Orthopedic Surgeons, three Primary Care-Sports Medicine trained Physicians, two Advanced Practice Practitioner, and a skilled team of ancillary staff. The selected candidate will enjoy a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits and an excellent work life balance.

What we're seeking:

  • Medical degree - M.D., D.O. or foreign equivalent
  • BE/BC in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Completion of an accredited orthopedic residency program and hand fellowship program preferred
  • Collegial and driven individual who is passionate about providing exceptional care in a Community Hospital setting
  • If sub-specialty trained, must be willing to provide general orthopedic care (hospital on call and elective)
