Job description

Join our fast-paced and passionate team as a Director, Technical Program Management. As we scale, you will be instrumental in building our foundation from the ground up. This is a dynamic, hands-on role for a self-starter who thrives in a fluid startup environment. You'll have the opportunity to work on cutting edge technologies, work closely with leadership, and develop and implement best practices that support our mission and growth. Your key responsibilities are as follows:
  • Leads all phases of assigned programs from initiation through delivery with full responsibility for scope, schedule and financial margins.
  • Regularly briefs leadership team on programmatic financials and execution status.
  • Establish predictable execution by acting as the link between cross-functional engineering teams, customers, finance, supply chain and leadership. Identifies technical risks early and works with cross functional team to implement mitigation strategies. Anticipates and capitalizes on opportunities.
  • Leads contract negotiations and acts as the customer primary point of contact through effective communication and presentation skills, business acumen, understanding of technical capabilities and alignment on strategic business goals.
  • Responsible for ensuring the execution team is tracking to all customer, internal and regulatory requirements.
  • Successfully leads and grows team members across the organization in a way that fosters trust, recognizes and celebrates others, and reinforces the company values

Requirements
Experience:
  • Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 15+ years or more of relevant experience (including pursuit of relevant higher education); ideally within a startup or technology company.

Skills:
  • Proven record of successfully leading the execution of a complex development programs from proposal through production.
  • Proficient in the following technical areas outside of program management: systems engineering, test engineering, optics, quality engineering, system integration and product development lifecycle.

Benefits
The expected annual salary range for this position is $185,000-$235,000.
As a full-time employee, you will be eligible for Monarch's comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
