As an Innovation Strategy Intern at McKesson, you will gain hands-on experience supporting our business by assisting with innovation strategy planning, data collection & analysis, and assessing the competitive landscape.

Intern Program Details:

Paid Internship

Full time / 10 weeks

Position will be based out of our Irving, TX location

The internship program provides networking, access to executives, structured performance & coaching

Experiential learning and training provided by exposure to subject matter experts

Our Innovation Strategy Interns work directly with the Director of Strategic Insights & Innovation to:

Gather and analyze customer intelligence: Explore primary and secondary customer research methodologies and how to apply them in business settings.

Gather and analyze market intelligence: Conduct competitive market research to uncover trends and use them to formulate product strategy.

Build compelling problem & action statements: Synthesize collected into evidence-based problem statements that direct future actions.

Gain experience in healthcare strategy: Join a Center of Excellence to learn how healthcare innovation works from start to finish.

Requirements:

o Currently pursuing a graduate degree in Social Sciences, Public Health, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or a related field.

o Experience assisting or leading research activities, such as interviews, focus groups, statistical analysis, document review, evaluation, etc.

o Excited about complex healthcare challenges.

o Solid interpersonal skills with high emotional intelligence.

o Excellent written and verbal communication.

o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

o Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
