What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the product owner banking position, and why are they important?

To excel as a Product Owner Banking, you need a solid understanding of banking products, agile methodologies, and product lifecycle management, often supported by a degree in business, finance, IT, or a related field. As a Product Owner Banking, you will regularly collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, UX/UI designers, quality assurance testers, business analysts, and key stakeholders from both technology and business departments. Frequent communication and alignment with regulatory, compliance, and risk teams are also common, given the highly regulated nature of banking.
