Position Summary

As a Senior Product Manager, you will lead the strategy, solutioning, and execution of a value stream within the DDAT G&A product team, shaping the end-to-end experience and ensuring the work delivered drives meaningful outcomes for members, providers and Aetna.

From defining and prioritizing the problems that matter most to ensuring solutions deliver real impact, you will operate across teams, systems, and stakeholders to move work forward while helping strengthen a product mindset across how we build and deliver.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Drive Product Strategy & Outcomes
    • Define the strategy, outcomes, and roadmap for your value stream aligned to the G&A vision
    • Translate complex business and customer problems into clear, value-driven priorities
    • Partner with engineering, design, business, and data to deliver meaningful product solutions
    • Ensure work is tied to measurable value (customer outcomes, business impact, operational efficiency)
    • Continuously evaluate where to invest, pivot, or stop based on data, discovery, and results
    • Partner with business stakeholders to understand operational workflows, business strategy, and key use cases, and use that context to inform product decisions
    • Ensure alignment between your value stream and broader G&A strategy, connecting work to end-to-end outcomes and enterprise value
  • Deliver Through Influence
    • Work across multiple teams and backlogs to ensure the right work happens, even when you don't own all the pieces
    • Identify dependencies, surface tradeoffs, and drive decisions to keep progress moving
    • Drive cross-functional decision-making and alignment on strategy, priorities, and execution across business, operational, and technical partners and stakeholders
    • Engage leadership and stakeholders to gather feedback and evolve strategy and roadmap over time
  • Drive Discovery and Product Thinking
    • Lead ongoing product discovery to understand member, provider and business needs
    • Evaluate current product state using customer feedback, product analysis, data, and stakeholder input
    • Incorporate market, industry, and competitive insights to inform product direction
    • Synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights across research and data to shape product direction, validate decisions, and refine prioritization
    • Develop and communicate discovery readouts that synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights, including research, product data, and market context, to inform stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and leadership
    • Model and reinforce a product mindset across teams, helping drive change and evolve how product is practiced within G&A and across Aetna

Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years required experience in software product management, with demonstrated success in leading large-scale enterprise products/capabilities
  • 5+ years' experience facilitating cross-functional teams, including engineering, architecture and UX supporting or leading product transformation efforts
  • 3+ years' experience working in an agile environment and leading decentralized teams
  • 1+ years of mentoring and coaching colleagues
  • Ability to travel up to 1-4 times per year
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in healthcare and/or health insurance industry
  • Prior experience with claims or appeals systems or processing
  • Experience with AI tools: MS Copilot, Claude
  • Technology acumen
  • Data-driven decision making and quantitative analysis skills
  • Strong understanding of engineering and software development concepts and practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to make informed decisions in high-pressure environments

Education
  • Bachelors Degree or relevant work/industry experience
  • Will accept 2 years' experience per 1 year college plus required years of product management experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$106,605.00 - $260,590.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
