About the Role
As the Sr. Product Marketing Manager for the Public Sector Segment, you will own the go-to-market strategy, positioning, and messaging that drive awareness, adoption, and revenue growth across NinjaOne's Federal, State, Local, and Education (SLED) audiences. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across Product, Sales, Business Development, and Revenue Marketing to ensure our storytelling, campaigns, and enablement efforts resonate with government IT buyers of all sizes and mission types. This role blends strategy and storytelling, requiring both a deep understanding of public sector buying environments and the ability to translate complex product capabilities into mission-aligned outcomes that help government agencies modernize, secure, and scale their IT operations. You'll report to the Director of Downstream Product Marketing and serve as the primary owner of Public Sector audience messaging that powers campaigns, content, events, and enablement.

Location - We are flexible on hybrid/remote working from home, if you are located in the USA and reside in one of the following states: CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, KS, MA, ME, NC, NJ, NY, OR, TN, TX, VA, or WA. Preference will be given to candidates based in VA or MD or those willing to relocate unassisted.
Travel Requirement: Up to 40% representing NinjaOne at key industry events, product launches, and government customer engagements.

What You’ll be Doing

Market-Driven Differentiation
  • Act as the voice of the Public Sector market within NinjaOne, grounding messaging in real-world agency needs, compliance requirements, and emerging government IT trends
  • Own Public Sector buyer and persona insights, including Federal vs. SLED nuances, procurement motions, agency pain points, compliance drivers, and competitive dynamics.
  • Collaborate with Product and Upstream PMM to translate technical capabilities into clear, differentiated value propositions for Federal, SLED, and regulated-sector IT buyers
  • Partner with the Public Sector Segment Marketing Leader to ensure all marketing programs are intentional, consistent, and outcome-driven for the government audience
  • Identify opportunities to evolve NinjaOne's Public Sector positioning and messaging to align with mandates such as zero-trust, FedRAMP, CMMC, and CISA directives

Strategic Go-to-Market Leadership
  • Lead GTM strategy for Public Sector-focused launches, partnering with Product, Sales, and Marketing to drive awareness, adoption, and pipeline growth
  • Build messaging and tools that help both direct sales and agency-facing teams articulate NinjaOne's differentiated value within government procurement contexts
  • Partner with the Head of Public Sector Sales and Revenue Enablement to deliver joint workshops, webinars, and training that help government-facing reps navigate complex procurement cycles
  • Help prioritize and execute the Public Sector roadmap for enablement, campaigns, launches, and field support in partnership with Product, Sales, and Marketing stakeholders.
  • Develop Public Sector ideal customer profiles, segmentation strategies, and targeting plans to improve focus and execution across Federal and SLED audiences

Sales Enablement
  • Create Public Sector-focused enablement content including pitch decks, solution guides, competitive battlecards, objection-handling tools, and agency success stories as well as maintain a reusable PubSec enablement library.
  • Simplify complex compliance requirements and product capabilities into clear, actionable insights so internal teams can confidently speak to NinjaOne's value in regulated environments
  • Deliver training and ongoing support for the sales team to ensure alignment with key Public Sector messaging, compliance positioning, and procurement best practices
  • Build and maintain tools that help articulate product value, including capability statements, agency case studies, and RFP/RFI response frameworks that highlight measurable mission outcomes

Thought Leadership & Market Influence
  • Help position NinjaOne as the most trusted IT management platform for modern government IT teams through strategic storytelling and thought leadership
  • Contribute to industry content such as whitepapers, compliance guides, webinars, community panels, and agency-facing campaigns alongside the Public Sector Segment Leader
  • Represent NinjaOne at key government IT industry events and in analyst briefings, podcasts, or panels
  • Cultivate relationships with government IT influencers and agency partners to strengthen NinjaOne's credibility and brand presence across the public sector ecosystem

Analytics, Insights, and Operations
  • Monitor market dynamics, regulatory developments, and government buyer feedback to refine positioning and campaign strategy
  • Track and report performance of Public Sector-focused launches and initiatives, tying results to pipeline, revenue impact, and agency engagement
  • Maintain and optimize messaging frameworks, campaign BOMs, and enablement tools to ensure consistency across teams and regions
