Job description

We offer a flexible working policy that supports a healthy balance between personal and professional well-being. This role requires in-office presence on Tuesdays & Thursdays to collaborate, connect, and learn from peers - while also maintaining the flexibility for meaningful work-life balance.
Being a Senior Product Manager at iManage Means...
You will be building the foundation that makes everything else possible. At iManage, platform product management means you are the architect of the core services, APIs, and intelligent capabilities upon which all of our products are built - empowering internal engineering teams to move faster, enabling technology partners to build with confidence, and delivering the reliable, intelligent backbone that hundreds of thousands of professionals across the world depend on every day.
iManage is trusted by 4,100+ organizations managing billions of documents and petabytes of data on our Azure-based global cloud platform. As a Senior Product Manager, you will own part of the roadmap for the foundational capabilities that power everything from document management to AI-enabled knowledge work. You sit at the intersection of infrastructure, developer experience, and AI integration, making platform decisions whose impact ripples across every product in the iManage portfolio.
Here is what one of our leaders, Senior Director of Product Management (Krzysztof Kazibut), has to say about the opportunity: "This is a role for a generalist who thrives in simplifying complexity. You'll move fluidly between platform roadmap discussions, AI integration opportunities, partner ecosystem strategy, and go-to-market alignment - drawing on strong customer empathy, systems thinking and communication skills. If you love solving genuinely hard problems, advocating for the developers who depend on you and the customers we serve to build platforms that unlock scale and intelligence for others, this role was made for you."
iM Responsible For...
  • Defining and driving the product strategy and roadmap for part of iManage's core platform capabilities - including APIs, platform services, observability tooling, developer experience, and AI-enabling infrastructure.
  • Serving as the voice of our customers, internal developers, and technology partners by deeply understanding their workflows, integration pain points, and goals to design frictionless platform experiences that make iManage a joy to use.
  • Partnering with engineering, cloud operations, SRE, and architecture teams to deliver highly available, fault-tolerant, and globally scalable platform features and capabilities.
  • Identifying opportunities to rationalize duplicate capabilities across product lines into reusable, composable platform services to increase leverage, reduce engineering redundancy, and accelerate delivery across the portfolio.
  • Synthesizing input from customers, partners, sales, support, cloud operations, and engineering to shape near- and long-term platform roadmap priorities while ensuring the right trade-offs are made at the right time.
  • Articulating platform strategy, roadmap, and capabilities to internal stakeholders, executive leadership, and external audiences - from engineering standups to customer briefings and industry events.
  • Collaborating with product marketing and go-to-market teams to develop compelling platform messaging, competitive differentiation, and thought-leadership content.
  • Monitoring market trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies to ensure iManage's platform capabilities remain best in class.
iM Qualified Because I Have...
  • 6+ years of product management experience, including at least 2 years focused on platform, infrastructure, API, or developer-facing products.
  • Experience applying AI meaningfully to product work, including shipping or collaborating closely on AI-powered capabilities and understanding how AI integration affects platform architecture, data requirements, and product strategy.
  • Technical fluency that enables confident participation in API design reviews, cloud architecture discussions, and infrastructure trade-off conversations without the need to write production code.
  • Experience working with public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) in a SaaS or hybrid deployment environment.
  • Strong systems-thinking skills with the ability to understand how platform decisions create ripple effects across products, teams, customers, and partners - and to reason clearly about second-order consequences.
  • A proven track record of working cross-functionally across engineering, design, data, security, and go-to-market teams to align diverse stakeholders around a coherent platform vision.
  • Experience defining and tracking platform-specific success metrics, including SLOs, API adoption rates, integration velocity, reusability, and downstream shipping velocity.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, demonstrated through the ability to translate complex technical concepts for executive audiences and provide clear business context in engineering conversations.
  • The ability to navigate ambiguity and thrive in environments where requirements evolve, priorities shift, and the right answer is not always obvious.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Bonus Points If I Have...
  • Experience at a developer-platform, API-first, or infrastructure-focused company.
  • A hands-on engineering or software-development background that provides genuine empathy for the customers and developers supported by the platform.
  • Familiarity with legal technology, professional-services software, or compliance-driven industries.
  • Exposure to AI/ML infrastructure, LLM integration, RAG architectures, vector databases, or agentic-workflow platforms.
  • Experience with Azure IaaS or the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
  • Working knowledge of Python, .NET, Java, JIRA, Confluence, or agile development methodologies.
Don't meet every qualification listed above? Studies show that women and people of color are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet all qualifications. At iManage, we are committed to building a diverse and inclusive environment, and encourage everyone to show up as their full authentic selves. We welcome those that come with a growth mindset and a hunger for learning; so, if you are excited about this role but your past experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification we encourage you to apply anyways!

  • Collaborate in a modern, open-plan workspace featuring a gaming area, free snacks and drinks, and regular social events.

  • Offering comprehensive Health/Vision/Dental/Life Insurance, and a 401k Retirement Savings Plan with a company match up to 4%.
  • Granting enhanced leave for expecting parents; 20 weeks 100% paid for primary leave, and 10 weeks 100% paid for secondary leave.
  • Providing me with a flexible time off policy to take the time off that I need. Be it for vacation, volunteering, celebrating holidays, spending time with family, or simply taking time to recharge and reset.
  • Having multiple company wellness days each year to prioritize mental health and well-being.
  • Providing access to RethinkCare, a global behavioral health platform that enhances personal well-being, strengthens professional resilience, and empowers parental success through expert-led training and resources.
