  • The Client Retail Services centralized Marketing Technology and Core Programs team drives strategic change while creating opportunities to take the Cards business to the next level.
  • Client is a B2B2C group that delivers digital marketing and other functionality for client's retail credit products as well as necessary support for flawless execution.
  • The Marketing team supports the entire North America consumer and commercial Retail Services portfolio of 30+ retail and fuels partners that include retailers like Macys, The Home Depot and Best Buy.
  • Client's goal is to cultivate an efficient, resilient, and customer centric set of features and functionality (marketing capabilities) that will enable an exceptional customer experience.
  • As a member of the team, candidates will be part of a fast paced, digitally savvy team that's critical to the success of the organization.
  • The primary responsibility of the Marketing Capabilities and Core Programs Manager is to support the flawless execution of projects that deliver new features and functionality in support of client's Retail Partnerships, including the entirety of a customer's overall credit experience.
  • The position will support significant business analysis and documentation.
  • The role requires strategic collaboration with key internal groups such as Partner Marketing and Partner Management Teams, Digital Product Teams, Creative Producers (both internal and agency resources), Development Teams, Testing Teams and other stakeholders. As such, this candidate will need to exhibit strong project management and communication skills, as well as strong attention to detail.

A successful Marketing Capabilities and Core Programs Project Manager or Analyst will possess the following:
  • Curiosity and passion about marketing and the overall customer experience, including best practices and emerging trends
  • Be proactive by being action-oriented.
  • This means pushing oneself and others to achieve the best possible experience and outcomes
  • Have solid technical skills across a range of toolsets including digital marketing, IT Systems, process management, reporting and analytics.
  • Strong business acumen that enables the manager to describe how features and functionality deliver on overall marketing objectives, in order to ensure requirements and any deliverables align with stakeholder expectations.
  • Strong communication, writing, collaboration and project management skills are necessary in delivering on timelines and driving solutions that translate marketing requirements into efficiently executed projects
  • Ability to work and excel in a virtual work environment where management, peers and clients may not be in the same physical location

Primary Responsibilities and Focus:
  • Support the rollout and testing of new features (rate sales, contactless card issuance, pre-qual programs) for retail partnerships.
  • Support the delivery of marketing features and functionality throughout the entire project lifecycle, including requirements definition, solutioning, development and testing.
  • Collaborate with a wide variety of internal teams to ensure projects deliver required functionality on time
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and focus on the goal at hand while understanding the larger picture (timelines, partner needs, testing requirements, ease of use, supportability)
  • Ensure all required procedures, approvals and administrative requirements are closely followed and maintained throughout the execution of feature delivery.
  • Ownership and accountability of any key performance metrics related to project quality and delivery.
