JOB TITLE: Product Manager, Internal Applications (Prophet & Encore)
JOB SUMMARY:
The Product Manager, is responsible for the strategy, roadmap, prioritization, and continuous improvement of Pharmalink's core internal platforms, including Prophet and Encore. This role serves as the primary bridge between business operations, customers, and technology teams to ensure internal applications effectively support operational efficiency, scalability, customer onboarding, and long-term modernization goals.
The Product Manager will own the product lifecycle for both legacy and modernized application capabilities, balancing immediate operational needs with strategic platform evolution. This role partners closely with Development, QA, Operations, and business stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize enhancements, and drive successful delivery outcomes.
The ideal candidate combines strong operational understanding, product management discipline, and technical fluency with the ability to drive execution in a fast-paced environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Product Strategy & Roadmap
  • Own and maintain the product roadmap for Prophet and Encore
  • Partner with leadership to align product priorities with company strategic goals
  • Balance operational enhancements, customer requirements, and modernization initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, automation, scalability, and user experience
  • Define and prioritize short-term and long-term product investments

Product Ownership & Execution
  • Gather and translate business requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog across internal applications
  • Partner with engineering and QA teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery
  • Participate in sprint planning, prioritization, testing reviews, and release readiness activities
  • Ensure product releases align with operational and customer needs

Operational & Customer Alignment
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Operations, Customer Success, Technology, and Development teams
  • Develop strong understanding of operational workflows and customer onboarding processes
  • Drive continuous feedback loops with users and stakeholders to improve product capabilities

Product Improvement & Modernization
  • Support the modernization strategy for Prophet and related applications
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual processes and operational inefficiencies
  • Partner with architecture and development teams to improve scalability, integrations, and system usability
  • Support migration of legacy functionality into modern application frameworks where appropriate

Metrics & Performance Management
  • Define and track product success metrics and operational KPIs
  • Monitor adoption, user satisfaction, defects, and enhancement performance
  • Use data-driven insights to prioritize enhancements and improve product outcomes
  • Provide regular roadmap and status updates to leadership

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Information Systems, or related field required
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, or Application Management
  • Experience managing internal business applications or operational platforms
  • Experience working in Agile software development environments
  • Experience balancing operational support with strategic product improvements preferred
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent prioritization and organizational abilities
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and drive execution
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and results-driven
  • Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills
  • Must maintain a positive attitude in a high-performance team environment.
