What is an AI/ML Project Manager?

An AI/ML Project Manager is a professional responsible for leading and coordinating projects that involve artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technologies. They bridge the gap between technical teams (such as data scientists and engineers) and business stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet desired outcomes. Their duties include planning project timelines, managing resources, communicating progress, and mitigating risks. AI/ML Project Managers also need to have a solid understanding of AI/ML concepts to effectively oversee technical aspects and make informed decisions.

What are some common challenges faced by AI/ML Project Managers when coordinating cross-functional teams?

AI/ML Project Managers often encounter challenges in bridging communication gaps between data scientists, software engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders.
