Job description

Join Nilfisk as our new Global Product Manager, Industrial Floorcare, and take on a key role in shaping the future of our Industrial Floorcare portfolio. You will own the global product management for a defined set of products within the Industrial Floorcare product line - driving product strategy, roadmap execution, and lifecycle management to deliver sustainable growth and strong customer value. At Nilfisk, you will join a company with 120 years of engineering heritage, a global customer footprint, and an ambitious transformation journey where your work will directly influence how we grow, innovate, and deliver value to customers worldwide.
Major Function
As Global Product Manager, Industrial Floorcare, you will own the global product management agenda for a specific product segment within the Industrial Floorcare portfolio. You will define the product strategy, execute the multi-year roadmap, and manage the full product lifecycle - from concept and launch to optimization and phase-out. Reporting to the Director, Industrial Floorcare Product Management, you will partner closely with R&D, operations, sourcing, marketing, sales, service, and regional commercial teams to ensure your product segment delivers strong competitive positioning, profitable growth, and superior customer outcomes.
This role can be based in Minneapolis, USA or one of Nilfisk European locations. As a global product management role, some international travel is expected to engage with regional teams, customers, and key partners.
Your New Team
You will be part of the global Industrial Floorcare Product Management team, working alongside product managers responsible for other segments within the portfolio. You will collaborate closely with product development, product lifecycle management, marketing, operations, regional sales, and commercial functions in a matrix environment that combines strategic direction with deep local market insight.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Own the global product management agenda for a defined product segment within Industrial Floorcare, setting the vision, strategy, and priorities in alignment with the overall portfolio direction.
  • Build and execute the product roadmap, translating market insights, customer pain points, competitive analysis, and industry trends into a clear, multi-year plan that balances regional requirements with global priorities.
  • Manage the full product lifecycle, from ideation and business case development through launch, optimization, and end-of-life - ensuring a healthy, competitive, and profitable product offering at all stages.
  • Partner with R&D and engineering to ensure development priorities reflect real market needs, with clear requirements for quality, cost, design, sustainability, and operational readiness embedded throughout the product development process.
  • Drive product growth and profitability by partnering with operations, sourcing, pricing, and regional teams on VA/VE initiatives, cost-out programs, pricing strategy, and margin improvement.
  • Enable impactful go-to-market execution in partnership with regional product and commercial teams - including positioning, launch planning, channel strategy, sales enablement, and training.
  • Serve as a cross-functional connector, ensuring strong collaboration across operations, sourcing, marketing, regions, service, regulatory, and legal teams throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Represent the voice of the customer and the market in relevant forums, and support in shaping the broader Industrial Floorcare strategy.

Why Join Us
Nilfisk is home to passionate, curious professionals who want to make an impact. In this role, you will own a strategically important product segment with high visibility across the company. You will partner with experts around the world, influence customer-centric solutions that drive long-term growth, and gain broad exposure to product strategy, commercial execution, and cross-functional leadership. You will benefit from an international work environment and opportunities to grow within a highly strategic function.
Qualifications to Succeed in the Position
To thrive in this role, you bring a strong blend of product management experience, commercial sharpness, and cross-functional collaboration skills. You likely have:
  • University degree in a Technical, Marketing, or Business field; advanced degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in a global or international organization.
  • Strong background in industrial equipment or B2B durable products; experience in floorcare, cleaning equipment, or adjacent industrial categories is a strong advantage.
  • Proven track record of building and executing product roadmaps and managing products through the full lifecycle - from insights and concepting to development, launch, optimization, and phase-out.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, channels, and competitive landscapes in industrial end-markets, with the ability to translate insights into impactful decisions.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with R&D, operations, sourcing, and service teams to deliver on quality, cost, and design outcomes.
  • Analytical mindset with confidence managing pricing, cost, value engineering, and the financial levers of product performance.
  • Strong ability to influence without authority and align stakeholders across global, matrixed environments.

Beyond your experience, you bring a proactive, customer-centric mindset. You stay closely connected to market needs and translate them into clear priorities and actions. You take ownership, drive execution, and collaborate effectively across functions and regions. You communicate with clarity, build strong relationships, and thrive in complex, global environments. You are curious, energetic, and continuously look for ways to improve - for yourself, your product, and the customer.
