The Role  

As the Product Manager, Data & Analytics, you will define and execute the strategy for StarRez's data, analytics, and AI capabilities. You'll partner closely with Engineering, Design, Customer Success, and business leaders to build products that help customers make better decisions, improve operational efficiency, and unlock greater value from their data.  

This role balances strategic thinking with hands-on product execution. You'll lead initiatives from discovery through delivery, using customer research, analytics, and market insights to prioritize opportunities and measure success. You'll also help shape how AI and intelligent automation are incorporated into the platform, ensuring new capabilities solve meaningful customer problems while supporting StarRez's long-term product vision.  

Role Specifics  

  • Work Location: Remote (US) with a strong preference for candidates willing to work a hybrid schedule from Denver, CO  
  • Travel: 5% (The percentage of travel is an estimate and can vary based on business needs.)  
  • Reporting Structure: This role reports to the Senior Director, Product.  

What You Will Own  

  • Define and evolve the long-term product strategy and roadmap for StarRez's data, analytics, and AI capabilities, aligning customer needs with business objectives.  
  • Lead high-impact product initiatives from discovery through launch and continuous improvement, establishing clear success metrics and measuring business impact.  
  • Partner with customers, Engineering, Design, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate insights into scalable, user-centered product solutions.  
  • Use customer research, analytics, experimentation, and market trends to prioritize investments and make data-informed product decisions.  
  • Drive adoption, engagement, and commercial outcomes by delivering products that improve decision-making, operational efficiency, and customer value.  
  • Balance competing priorities across customer requests, technical investments, and strategic initiatives while maintaining a clear long-term product vision.  
  • Champion innovation by identifying opportunities to leverage AI and intelligent automation to enhance the customer experience and strengthen the StarRez platform.  

Required Qualifications  

  • 2+ years of product management experience 
  • Experience owning SaaS, platform, or data-focused products that delivered measurable customer and business impact
  • Proficient in translating customer, business, and technical needs into clear product strategy, requirements, and roadmap priorities
  • Demonstrated success influencing cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders in a collaborative environment
  • Experience using customer research, analytics, experimentation, and product metrics to drive product decisions
  • Proven ability to partner closely with Engineering to deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions
  • Experience with data platforms, business intelligence, analytics, reporting, or AI-driven product capabilities
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled products, data platforms, or intelligent automation, and an interest in applying emerging technologies to solve customer problems

Preferred Qualifications  

  • Experience in higher education, student housing, enterprise SaaS, or related industry 
  • Experience developing pricing, packaging, or go-to-market strategies for software products
