Job description

Deloitte's Global Business Services (GBS) team helps CFOs, CAOs, and other executives transform Finance, HR, Technology, Procurement, and other corporate functions through centralized, optimized, and technology-enabled service delivery models. GBS organizations are becoming enterprise hubs for AI-enabled decision-making, resilience, and growth. We help clients modernize operations through operating model design, process transformation, ERP enablement, intelligent automation, generative AI, predictive analytics, and agentic AI.

We are seeking an experienced Manager to lead client engagements, teams, and workstreams focused on GBS, shared services, outsourcing, and operating model transformation. You will help clients improve efficiency, scalability, service experience, governance, and business value-including by designing hybrid human-AI operating models that clarify where work is performed by people, automation, or AI agents.

Work You'll Do

  • Lead GBS transformation initiatives across strategy, operating model design, governance, process improvement, technology enablement, and implementation.
  • Assess current-state processes, service delivery models, organizational structures, and technologies to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Design future-state operating models and processes that improve performance, standardization, scalability, resilience, and service experience.
  • Develop AI and automation roadmaps, including opportunities to embed generative AI, agentic AI, predictive analytics, workflow, and intelligent automation into GBS operations.
  • Help establish human-AI roles, decision rights, oversight, exception handling, escalation paths, and performance measures.
  • Develop business cases, economic models, value-realization plans, presentations, and executive recommendations.
  • Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and align business, functional, and technology teams.
  • Lead project teams, mentor practitioners, oversee deliverable quality, and support change management and workforce adoption.
  • Contribute to proposals, pursuits, practice development, and Deloitte's evolving AI-enabled GBS perspective.
  • Collaborate with Deloitte teams across the US, US India, and global member firms.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • 8+ years of relevant consulting, professional services, or industry transformation experience.
  • 3+ years of direct people management experience, including leading complex projects or teams.
  • Experience with shared services, outsourcing, offshoring, Global Business Services, Global Capability Centers, or back-office transformation.
  • Experience designing, implementing, or optimizing service delivery or operating models.
  • Strong business case development, financial modeling, analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience with ERP, workflow, automation, AI, predictive analytics, or other technologies relevant to GBS operations.
  • Experience across multiple corporate functions, such as Finance, HR, IT, Procurement, or Commercial Operations.
  • Ability to create compelling executive presentations, storyboards, and recommendations.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Preferred

  • Experience with agentic AI platforms, orchestration tools, AI governance, responsible AI, or AI-enabled workforce transformation.
  • Experience developing GBS or Global Capability Center AI-maturity assessments, roadmaps, or adoption strategies.
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or change management methodologies.
  • Experience supporting technology vendor selection, proposals, or pursuits.
  • MBA or other advanced degree.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $155,600 - $306,800.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
