Project Manager – Food Innovation (FIT)

12-Month Contract | Hybrid (Irvine, CA | Tues–Thurs Onsite)

We're partnering with a leading brand to hire an Project Manager to support its Innovation team. This newly created role sits at the intersection of Food Innovation and Marketing, ensuring product development, commercialization, and marketing remain aligned from concept through launch.

This is more than traditional project management—it's an opportunity to own cross-functional execution, drive operational processes, and keep complex product initiatives moving forward.

What You'll Do

  • Build and manage integrated project timelines across Food Innovation, Marketing, Commercialization, Operations, Supply Chain, QA, and Product Development.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure key milestones, dependencies, and deliverables stay on track.
  • Lead project meetings, document action items, manage risks, and communicate project status to stakeholders.
  • Track operational readiness for new product launches, ensuring all development activities are completed before marketing milestones.
  • Identify process improvements that increase efficiency and strengthen cross-functional collaboration.

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of project or program management experience supporting physical products (food, CPG, retail, manufacturing, cosmetics, or similar).
  • Experience managing cross-functional product development or commercialization initiatives.
  • Strong organizational, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments while taking ownership of projects.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Monday.com or similar is a plus.

Preferred Experience

  • QSR, restaurant, food manufacturing, fast casual, or CPG.
  • Product innovation or commercialization experience.
  • Startup or entrepreneurial background is highly valued.

Contract Details

  • 12-month contract
  • Hybrid schedule: Onsite Tuesday–Thursday in Irvine, CA, WFH Mon and FRi
  • Pay: Up to $55/hour(w2), eligible for benefits and insurance!
  • 40hrs a week for 12 months +
