Familiarity with tools like Jira, Trello, Google Analytics, and proficiency in Excel or basic data analysis is often expected. Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills help you collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and articulate ideas. These skills are crucial for contributing meaningfully to product strategy and execution, ensuring your work supports the team's goals and user needs.

How does a Product Intern typically collaborate with cross-functional teams during an internship?

As a Product Intern, you will frequently work alongside teams such as engineering, design, marketing, and sales to help move product initiatives forward. This collaboration often involves attending team meetings, gathering feedback, and helping to coordinate tasks across departments. Job description

ABOUT GOODR

We create and sell active eyewear for anyone. No Slip. No Bounce. All Polarized. All Fun. Interested in joining our team? Keep reading.

OUR VALUES: We have two core values: Fun & Authenticity.

  • FUN = Being sh*tty isn't fun. Agreed? Taking pride in your work, finding joy in being GREAT, and celebrating wins... and losses. Now, that's fun!
  • AUTHENTICITY = Focusing on being authentic over being liked. (Next-level guru stuff. Count it.)

Fun Fact: We do not allow email to be sent internally. Carrier pigeons only. JK, we use Slack.

SUSTAINABILITY: We think Earth's pretty rad. That's why we take action wherever possible to limit our impact on the planet.

  • 1% FOR THE PLANET MEMBER: 1% of goodr's annual sales go directly to environmental organizations.
  • CARBON NEUTRAL: In 2019, goodr became a 100% carbon neutral company.

Fun Fact: goodr celebrates every Earth Day by releasing limited-edition sunglasses with frames made from 100% recycled materials-and the packaging is 100% sustainable, too!

ABOUT THE ROLE

Ever wonder how a pair of sunglasses gets made... or how a wild idea like pink furry frames becomes actual reality? Maybe you're curious how in the world a company lets a flamingo named Carl run the place. Well, look no further! goodr is calling all flaminglets - yes, that's a baby flamingo - for our 2026 Fall Internship Program!ย

At goodr, we show up unabashedly ourselves, own our sh**t, and get things done. And we want our interns to do the same. Join us for a 9-week adventure from August 31st, 2026 - October 30th, 2026. Did someone say bragging rights? OH YES WE DID. This part-time (or full-time if schedule allows), paid internship gives you real-world experience, flamingo-level fun, and skills you can take into any future career.

Love storytelling? Love seeing ideas come to life behind the camera or in the editing room? This internship is your ultimate backstage pass! As our Production Intern, you won't just be watching from the sidelines-you'll be waddling your way through the chaotic, fast-paced world of creative content. From Line Producing and Creative Pitching to Cinematography, Post-Production, and Art Department, you'll get to dive deep into whichever avenue excites you most. If you're ready to get your hands dirty, shadow the pros, and own a Capstone project from scratch, apply below!

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gain hands-on experience in Creative Content Production while learning how a fast-paced sports eyewear company operates day-to-day
  • Support our massive content engine (averaging a shoot a week!) by assisting on Marketing Campaigns, Sunglasses Launches, and Athlete Partnerships
  • Collaborate across production tools and systems like Asana, Pics.io, Figma, Wrapbook, and Adobe Premiere to keep our projects organized and tracking smoothly
  • Own a final Capstone Project from start to finish-whether that's line producing a live shoot, updating asset management processes, or kicking off a new YouTube takeover workflow
  • This role is in the Production team and will report directly to the Sr. Content Director
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

INTERNSHIP REQUIREMENTS

  • Committed to the full 9-week internship: August 31st, 2026 - October 30th, 2026
  • Open to part-time (up to 30 hours/week) or full-time (40 hours/week) opportunities depending on your schedule
  • Available to work onsite at our Inglewood, CA office during regular business hours (9am - 5pm)
  • Required to be in the office on Tuesdays (minimum half-day)
  • Must reside in Los Angeles or the surrounding area for the duration of the internship
  • No college degree or prior experience needed-just a passion for learning and jumping into the flamingo-filled chaos of goodr

ABOUT THE IDEAL INTERNย

  • A Curious Explorer: You are stoked to try new things, even (and especially) when you aren't an expert yet, and you view mistakes as part of the learning curve.
  • An Aspiring Creative/Organizer: You have a passion for the world of production, whether you lean toward the creative visual side (camera, editing, pitching) or the logistical mastermind side (budgets, timelines, project management).
  • Tech-Adjacent: You're excited to learn (or already know your way around) tools like Adobe Premiere, Figma, Asana, or general content organization.
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic company environmentย
  • Ability to work autonomously and/or in teams
  • Strong communicator who lives into collaborationย
  • Driven by personal growth and thrives in an environment of constant feedback
  • Is proactive and an independent problem solver! (Can you google a question?)

WHAT YOU GET

  • A role at a company that is going to the moon
  • The opportunity to show up every day and have fun
  • The ability to learn and grow as a person
  • Mentorship from knowledgeable individuals in your potential field of choice
  • A chance to develop professional skills applicable to any career path
  • Hands-on work with passionate, talented team membersย
  • Trainings and discussions geared toward advancing your knowledge of company standards and systems
  • Relationships that transcend the duration of the internship
  • Real-life work experience and work samples to share with future employers
  • Pay Rate: $20/ hour
  • Sunglasses. Obviously.

**No Visa Sponsorship is available for this position.
