Summary
Product Integration Engineer 2 Salary Range: $81,000 - $115,000/ Year

The Product Integration Engineer 2 handles all Change, Configuration, and Project Management tasks related to pure electrical and electro-mechanical projects. Maintains and manages software parameters of all existing and upcoming product lines by working with electrical, mechanical, and software engineering disciplines along with planning and manufacturing. Acts as a troubleshooting resource for the floor and field and works with planning, manufacturing, and service to alleviate technical and SAP structure type issues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Responsible for Parameter, Configuration, Change and Project Management within the Electrical Engineering Department.
  • Plans project scope and milestones, handles communication and coordination within Design Engineering as well as all associated departments, and handles documentation via ER's, Target Process, and Wrike.
  • Maintains relationship between various part numbers and their associated parameters within SAP. Additionally, will need to support departments responsible for new product implementations by understanding the software/hardware ramifications of the new products.
  • Maintains and manages machine parameters of all existing and upcoming product lines by working with all engineering disciplines along with planning, purchasing, and manufacturing.
  • Monitors software integration for electromechanical parts while maintaining backwards compatibility and support on legacy product configurations.
  • Supports field service by creating patches to deal with unique issues to machines that are in use on the field or in warehouse production.
  • Uses SAP to maintain complicated BOM structures, looks at history of machines/ product families and their issues, forecasting and demand maintenance, among other things.
  • Coordinates with multiple departments to make sure the development meets all milestones and requirements, while understanding the long-term engineering and business ramifications.
  • Drives all EE and Electro-mech projects through their entire life-cycle from inception to implementation to service support and final disposition.
