Systems Integration Engineer
The Opportunity:
Are you excited about working alongside Product Engineers to realize value for customers? In this role, you will partner closely with our product portfolio teams to understand and address the real-world pain points of system integration, helping to shape solutions that empower system integration engineers to work more efficiently and effectively.
You will bring a strong understanding of cloud-native architectures and modern product ecosystems, enabling you to identify gaps in capabilities and translate them into actionable improvements. This position requires a strategic thinker who can bridge technical and business perspectives, contributing to the design and evolution of products that streamline integration workflows. As a key contributor, you will also play a pivotal role in pioneering Booz Allen's product integration business, helping define best practices, drive innovation, and deliver scalable solutions that accelerate mission and customer outcomes.

You Have:
  • 3+ years of experience navigating complex customer environments, including receiving and implementing requirements
  • 2+ years of experience with API integrations, including REST, webhooks, or authentication flows
  • 2+ years of experience implementing and troubleshooting authentication or authorization mechanisms, including OAuth2, SAML, or OpenID Connect
  • 2+ years of experience building prototype applications using languages such as Python or Go
  • 1+ years of experience implementing and working with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
  • Experience working with a major cloud provider in a production environment
  • Ability to troubleshoot across distributed systems, including logs, metrics, and debugging integration issues
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience working in a customer-facing engineering role such as in a Solutions Engineer or Implementation Engineer role
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools, including Terraform, CloudFormation, and Pulumi
  • Experience with identity providers such as Okta, Auth0, or Azure AD
  • Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems, including Kafka, SNS and SQS, or publish-subscribe (Pub/Sub)
  • Experience with networking fundamentals, including DNS, TLS, load balancing, and firewalls
  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills, to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
