About the Role

We are seeking an Executive Director of Product, Growth & Monetization to define and lead the product strategy for how we globally acquire, engage, retain, and monetize customers across multiple brands. This is a high impact, senior leadership role responsible for driving end-to-end product strategy and execution in a dynamic environment, spanning acquisition, plan tiering, upsells, account management, retention, and monetization.

This leader will manage and mentor a team of product managers, and shape the future of our growth engine, through a deep understanding of value creation and value capture. They will partner closely with other product teams, engineering, design, data science, marketing, and finance to deliver sustainable, scalable growth.

Responsibilities

Define Strategy & Vision: Own the long-term growth and monetization strategy across the customer lifecycle-from acquisition to retention and revenue optimization.

Drive Rapid Execution & Impact: Oversee product roadmaps and delivery, ensuring initiatives drive measurable business and customer impact in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.

Lead & Grow Team: Build, coach, and scale a high-performing team of product managers, fostering a culture of deep consumer and business understanding, experimentation, learning, and results.

Balance Value Creation & Capture: Develop innovative offerings that deliver customer value while driving sustainable revenue growth.

Experimentation & Optimization: Establish a culture of A/B testing, data-driven learning, and rapid iteration across acquisition, conversion, and retention funnels.

Ecosystem Thinking: Navigate complex ecosystems, understanding incentives and trade-offs across customer, business, and partner needs.

Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with other product teams, marketing, engineering, design, data, finance, and business development to align on goals and execute effectively.

Platform Mindset: Deeply understand and influence platform capabilities and technical constraints to scale growth and monetization initiatives globally.

Qualifications

12+ years of product management experience, with at least 5+ years in a senior leadership role managing PM teams at scale.

Bachelor's degree

Proven track record of delivering growth and monetization impact in a subscription, marketplace, or consumer platform business.

Deep expertise in customer acquisition, plan tiering, upsell strategies, account management, retention, and monetization.

Strong growth mindset with the ability to set ambitious goals, test hypotheses, and adapt strategies based on insights.

Technical aptitude to partner closely with engineering and data teams on platform capabilities and system design.

Experience considering ROI, financial tradeoffs, value creation, and value capture in product decisions.

Experience in entertainment, media, or adjacent industries strongly preferred.

Exceptional analytical, storytelling, and executive communication skills.

Comfort operating in ambiguity and leading cross-functional alignment at the executive level.

The hiring range for this position in San Francisco, CA is $275,900 to $370,000 per year, and in Glendale, CA is $251,900 to $337,800 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
