Distribution Services Technician
Location: Plainfield, IN.
Department: Distribution & Inventory
Job Type: Full-Time
Shift: 2:15PM - 11:00PM with rotating weekends; OT & On-Call as needed; Essential Personnel

How you will contribute to LifeNet Health's success:
As a Distribution Services Technician you will Pick, package, and ship orders for human allograft and autograft tissue displaying the highest degree of integrity, honesty, knowledge, and respect for the process of tissue donation and transplantation while providing supporting information and documentation that meets all client requests and regulatory requirements.
Important: You will be required to sit, stand, bend, walk and lift up to 50 lbs. for the duration of the shift.
This role is critical to the LifeNet Health mission because it plays an important role in ensuring that our lifesaving and health restoring allografts are properly and timely distributed to our patients around the globe.
What you'll do:
  • Pick, package, and ship orders of human allograft tissue according to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) with a high degree of accuracy. Meet daily deadlines for shipping products. Orders pull and prepare supplies for distribution area.
  • Utilize radio frequency (RF) technologies (hand scanners and digital display trackers), SAP and transportation management system (TMS) for order pulling and packing processes.
  • Ship all FedEx, UPS, and courier packages for LifeNet Health's internal clients accurately and in a timely manner. Schedule local courier services as necessary.
  • Visually inspect, identify and communicate nonconforming materials/conditions (e.g., expiration date or labeling issues, grafts unsuitable to ship to the client) as necessary.
  • Perform daily recording of Key Performance Indicators on the by hour by day chart (e.g. orders pulled and grafts pulled).
  • Work cross-functionally to correct process flow within the ordering matrix.

What you'll bring (Minimum Requirements):
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience

Preferred Experience/Skills/Certifications:
  • Three (3) years of warehouse experience preferred
  • One (1) year of SAP experience or Warehouse Management System (WMS) preferred
  • Dangerous Goods Certification preferred

  • Attention to Detail: Able to ensure accuracy and completeness in accomplishing tasks
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g. Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel)

Salary: $19.75 - $22.44/hour
The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location and the candidate's qualifications including prior relevant experience. The pay range for this position is $19.75 hourly (entry-level qualifications) to $22.00 hourly (experienced in this role).

This position is eligible for an annual bonus once eligibility criteria are met.
