As a Senior Product Associate in Data Privacy Product team, you contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and ongoing success. You will work with business analysts and senior business leads to understand their business outcomes to drive insights using existing, or brand-new data product curation. As a member in this team, you will also be focused on a new key partnership won by the Card business and be expected to deliver analytical data product solutions for their consumption working with business stakeholders / analysts, engineers and architects.

Job responsibilities
  • Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery
  • Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience
  • Supports the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers
  • Analyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle
  • Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development 
  • Drives with a product mindset to help tell a story of the importance of data, how data drives business outcomes and enhancing our customer's experience
  • Partners with data owners, engineering, data science, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant data product solutions and generative AI solutions.
  • Analyzes data, extract actionable insights, and connect findings to business strategy, highlighting the importance of data quality and centralized data management in a data lake.
  • Translates business requirements into clear technical specifications and user stories for development teams.
  • Owns product performance and is accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives
  • Develops a strong partnership with Stakeholders; communicating product updates, influencing the importance of data to the organization, progress and strategy to stakeholders; including executives and customers. 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle
  • Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition
  • Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
  • Experience in API-first product design, data governance, and real-time data processing, experience in delivering enterprise-scale data products with measurable business outcomes. Hands-on exposure to tools such as Snowflake and can dive into the detail
  • 4+ years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications 
  • Experience in influencing the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation. 
  • Strategic development, requirements definition and value management
  • Experience in driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions, Structured thinker and effective communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience with them
  • Technical knowledge of data engineering, data pipelines, data modeling and data architecture
 
 
 
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Recognized thought leader within a related field
  • High proficient in data querying with languages as Python, R, Perl, SQL
  • Experience in product development
  • Good knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design and data analytics
  • Familiarity with different data environments such as AWS S3, Snowflake and Data Bricks
