Key Responsibilities:
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing engineering team focused on developing new VFDs, power electronics and control technologies
- Drive research and development initiatives aligned with business strategy and long-term growth plans
- Evaluate emerging technologies in power electronics, embedded systems, and control software
- Recommend and prioritize R&D investments to maintain competitive advantage
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and resource allocation for engineering initiatives
- Oversee engineering budgets, capital planning, and project expenditures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders to ensure successful product development
- Establish strong relationships with internal business units, suppliers, and external partners
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across engineering processes and team performance
- Support product issue resolution, including failure analysis and corrective actions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in power electronics, controls, or related technologies
- 5+ years of experience leading product development teams or technical projects
- Proven track record of delivering complex engineering projects and driving business results
- Strong understanding of power electronics, embedded systems, and control technologies
- Experience managing engineering budgets, capital planning, and financial performance
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and ERP systems
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 20%
